Need a circle lens prescription? For most people who need prescription contact lenses, the same prescription would work, although there are several warnings about circle lenses that should be taken seriously. There are not legally for sale in the US at the time of this writing. Part of the problem is that people who don’t normally use contacts are using circle lenses without the experience that those of us with prescription contacts would employ. Prescription circle lenses, or those lenses that have a large diameter with actual vision correcting ability, are not as common as the cosmetic lenses with no prescription. Some people are hoping to get prescription toric circle lenses, but there is a limited availability of vision correcting styles available. In the countries where you can get a circle lens prescription, you should still be taking extra care given the larger size of the contacts and the need to provide the eye with oxygen. You don’t want to get a prescription for a circle lens that renders you with eye problems or blindness. .
